Our story started with a simple realization - Giving is living. After spending over two decades working for the largest engineering firms in the world, our founders, John Meng and Joanna Opena saw that they could connect with people better as business owners instead of employees. So, they set out to create a platform where reliable connections could be formed with clients, employees, and communities. This platform is what we now know as STRIVE.

MEET THE MINDS BEHIND STRIVE

JOHN MENG, PE

President/CEO

John Meng, PE is a Las Vegas native with a very broad background in civil engineering and project delivery. With decades of experience in the industry, he has a working history in real estate development and public works design and program management. He also has experience in design-builds for roads, rails, utilities, drainages, and airports.

John is also an avid triathlete and is training for three Ironman races in 2021.

His passion is in helping others realize and achieve their maximum potential through his life coaching practice.
